Having lunch with the kidos!

I wasn't fast enough to snap a picture of Austin. But I got Jenni

It was a great lunch, back to back. Austin give me hugs. He's a great boy. He finished all his lunch. Then Jenni ran up and hugged me before I could see her. Getting sneaky now. It was funny. Jenni didn't eat all her lunch. She wasn't a fan of the banana putting pie. But mom was when I brought it home. Double family score points!

Cornhuskers Vs Huskies

The Cornhuskers barely squeaked in another win on Saturday against the Huskies. The Huskies were in the lead for most of the game, but the relentless determination of the Cornhuskers lead to a win by 2 points.

Austin played a great game making at least 4 of the points and recovered numerous rebounds. Way to go Crazy Austin!

Groovy Girls!

Mom curled Jennifer's hair for cheerleading on Saturday. She looked adorable! She did another great job! Way to go Jenni.

NASCAR @ Hess's!

We are having a good time watching the race @ our friends house. Good food and good company!

Austin is short on the hungry menu, but he's catching up. Because if the rain delay he is getting some Wii time in! All good! I think Austin came close to Thursday's wing eating contests.

Charlotte Checkers Hockey tonight. Who's in?!?

This is going to be a great scouting event. The whole family is going and we're going to represent the Shaw's! Oh! I'm also going to look for a friend of mine I haven't see for awhile, Joan!!! She's going to be there too!

Austin and I are having a great time. Man, the new shack is looking great. Really amped up the show this year. The ribs were great. Oh?!? Austin had like 25 wings!!! My crazy basketball playing boy!

Cornhuskers Win Again

The Cornhuskers won their basketball game yesterday with a score of 36 to 30. Austin made at least 10 of the points and grabbed numerous rebounds after the other team missed their shots. It was a tough game, but they pulled it off. Austin got a gray star for great offensive plays. We are so proud of you, Austin!



We celebrated with some ice cream at Carvel after the game.
