Waxhaw Festival

This was a fun, quaint event. We only took about two hours there, but we filled it with all kids of fun! Our first stop was at the wood turners booth. How great this profession is. With in minutes, they had taken a freshly cut branch and created Kris a beautiful flower. I mean how great is that. It look so easy. I even thought checking out a wood lathe at Home Depot. :) Of coarse, it was more difficult than it appeared. As if that wasn't enough, they created each kids a spinning top. The kids even got to pick out two colored markers which were to paint the tops. It was neat. The kids loved them!

Disney On Ice: AWESOME!

I'm not even going to try to explain how awesome this was. I will tell how great it felt watching the kids eyes light up! We were up front and close, practically on the ice with them. I truly felt wonderful as they called out each characters name and watched in awe the fantastic grace they all had on the ice. What magnificent start to a glorious day! Thank you mom for making this a memory forever!

Fun Run Boosterathon Event

Austin ran 35 laps at the Fun Run Boosterathon Event at Sandy Ridge Elementary School. Way to go Austin! We are proud of you.
