Cub Scouts Pinewood Derby!

Austin is not in cub scouts anymore, but we had a cancelled football game due to weather. So, we stopped by the old club and participated in the derby race. Still awesome as ever. Great kids!

3/22/14 Football Game

Austin's football team, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, played the Tennessee Volunteers/Fine on Saturday. Austin was the quarterback the first half of the game and then switched to defense. He blocked 2 passes and intercepted 1 pass while playing defense. This guy can do it all! The game ended in a tie. Way to go Austin!

Happy St. Patricks Day

Liam the leprechaun stopped by early this morning. He made a mess downstairs but left the kids some goodies...chocolate gold coins and a real gold dollar coin. Thanks Liam!

Champs Flag Football

Austin played an excellent game of flag football today. He started off playing defense and then he was switched to quarterback. He threw three touchdown passes. So proud of you Austin!

Calvary football in God's country!

God created a beautiful day. We were blessed with a great game. I am so proud of Austin. The first half of the game he was on defense, playing safety. He stopped several runs. For the second half he played quarterback. His first throw was released high and hit his target. It was awesome. Austin was making some long throws for big plays. One set of downs took 30 seconds for a touchdown. All passes. I was so happy for Austin. I was really surprised how well he did. Austin hooked up with a red head receiver. They made a great pair. The red train they were called.

Proud dad moment. I exclaimed he is a mam's boy!  Good job Austin!!!
