East New Orleans Tornato Disaster

I pray you and the family are doing well

East New Orleans for the tornado disaster.  Look forward to some great sleep tonight, bright eyed and bushy tailed for tomorrow.

Typical day. Homeowners house was ruined, roofs mostly torn off.  Volunteers removing big pieces from the roof to make way for new wood, only from structure purpose to put a tarp on.  They will need a who new structural roof.  While there, you can hear ministering to the homeowner.  Overjoy strikes the camps when the homeowner accepts Christ.  An awesome miricale to witness.  The Lord's work has only just begun.  Follow up is needed; local church(s) to ensure the new Christian grows in his faith with Christ so that he may find and bring others to Christ.

Daily volunteer debriefing, people shared what moved them throughout the evening as they eat dinner (chicken fried steak, mash potatoes, green beans, banana pudding - today).  Then, introductions of some new team members and where they were from is performed.  A few from Canada.  Several people meeting one another.  Most of the volunteers are husband/wife teams with a good amount of chrome.

And, there are other volunteer groups like Rubicon.  A group of mostly military veterans.

Constant pray is needed for these volunteers too.  Praying for strength and perseverance, freeing of selfishness to allow God to work miracles!
