Shaw Thanksgiving

This was a fantastic day. We had the Licourt family over. We play community football for a few hours and hit the house for turkey. We had a nice blessing and then craved the turkey. Man, was this turkey moist. NICE! I believe there were a few bevies too! Great Job Kris. You are the best!!!

Tras-Sebrian Orchestra

Did I mention we attended the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and a rock concert broke out?!?

I was up too late with the wife at the Trans-Siberian Orchestra! Wow, I had no idea how much of a rock concert this was going to be. This was an incredible show. Thank you to my wonderful wife for such a great, secretive event! You are, my love, a angel of God!

It was a phenomenal evening. Have a glass of wine or two during this fantastic show as well! There are two distinct venues in one. The first half was story telling with original Christmas music infused with rock n’ roll. Exquisite! The second, followed by material from the latest album, New Castle. A great event. Those expecting philharmonics might need to reach into their cerebral vortex to extract some rock ‘n roll to the surface first.

CubScouts - Toolbox!

Another great night at cub scouts. Austin made a tool box. How cool is that?!? I was so proud. I was able to bring 3 of my hammers to share with kids who didn’t have any. They all got used. It was a simple project, but one that Austin and I did together. A few nails here and there and poof, we had a toolbox! It reminded me of the times we put NASCAR wood kits together at LMS. Just cool, dirty fun. We had sawdust all over us. I think I’m going to break out my table saw and get a few projects going. Why? Cause sawdust is awesome and it smells great! Man I had fun! I love you Austin!
