Jenni's Gymnastics; with injury

Jenni had her foot wrapped today for gymnastics. What a true Shaw. Check out the picture!

Instructor looking Jenni over

This was after she had 2 hours at Hip Hop camp. What a trooper!!! She had hurt her foot a few days prior coming out of the theater. The left side of her left foot was scraped by the door. Poor girl. Mom brought her home and we bandaged her up. It wasn't deep. A long skinny sliver of skin was torn, like road rash. Not pretty, but we expect a full recovery with neosporin.

Jenni gets a gymnastics medal

Jenni received her first gymnastics medal from Weddington Activity Center today. Way to go Jenni! We are so proud of you.

Low Country Boil

Man, oh, man!

This was a great time. We are REALLY getting great at this neighborhood events! This one took about 2 weeks planning and I think we nailed it. The food was awesome; shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and fixings were top notch. I think we might need to start a little business here, WWDC Poor Boy Works.

Sariah put on some great dessert! My Fav!

The Ladies

Man! That looks great

Austin's SRES EOY party

We had a great time at the end of year party for Austin. It was a year of new understanding as 3rd grade takes EOG's. Undue stress in my opinion. However, we got through it. We know now what we need to do to help the kids be successful. That means some sutble changes as a family, like more reading time together. :)

Son's Love

Austin had a day to teach the class for 10 minutes on anything he wanted. He chose to teach about the United States Air Force and his dad's service. I was so honored to hear this. He even sat with me for a little interview, took notes, and worked up an agenda. I am so proud. I love you Austin!

Here is his work:
