It was a great lunch, back to back. Austin give me hugs. He's a great boy. He finished all his lunch. Then Jenni ran up and hugged me before I could see her. Getting sneaky now. It was funny. Jenni didn't eat all her lunch. She wasn't a fan of the banana putting pie. But mom was when I brought it home. Double family score points!

Cornhuskers Vs Huskies

The Cornhuskers barely squeaked in another win on Saturday against the Huskies. The Huskies were in the lead for most of the game, but the relentless determination of the Cornhuskers lead to a win by 2 points.

Austin played a great game making at least 4 of the points and recovered numerous rebounds. Way to go Crazy Austin!

Groovy Girls!

Mom curled Jennifer's hair for cheerleading on Saturday. She looked adorable! She did another great job! Way to go Jenni.

Austin and I are having a great time. Man, the new shack is looking great. Really amped up the show this year. The ribs were great. Oh?!? Austin had like 25 wings!!! My crazy basketball playing boy!

Cornhuskers Win Again

The Cornhuskers won their basketball game yesterday with a score of 36 to 30. Austin made at least 10 of the points and grabbed numerous rebounds after the other team missed their shots. It was a tough game, but they pulled it off. Austin got a gray star for great offensive plays. We are so proud of you, Austin!



We celebrated with some ice cream at Carvel after the game.

Upward's #1

Another great Saturday at Upward Cheerleading and Basketball. Jennifer led a cheer that goes like this: "Dribble, Dribble, Shoot, Shoot, Take It To The Hoop, Hoop!" She got a blue star for excellent effort. Yea, Jennifer!

We have a lot of college work to get ready for. So, I sat down and created a spreadsheet on google docs. I was drawing a blank on how to set one up to track her financial aid progress. I found a nice project management one that I modified. I shared the document with her via gDocs. After she updated her password, she found the spreadsheet and worked it. Amen! Live is good!

Lunch with Jenni, non-stop

Wow, what a fast past run at the end of the school lunch sessions. Jenni was talking so much about so many things. Oh, the energy. I can only image how amped up she will be after eating. :) Mom stopped in too for a little lunch. How great is He!!!

Today I had a wonderful lunch with Austin. He is getting so big. While I he could do better with his eating habits, mostly chips, he is full of love. And, he is giving generously. I must have gotten 3 hugs before he left. And I thought he would be too big for that. He must be a God loving child. How great is He!

Upward Cheerleading and Basketball

On Saturday, February 11 Jennifer got a black star at cheerleading for her leadership. She led one of the cheers on the basketball court. Good Job, Jennifer!

Austin won another basketball game later that same day. It was a tough game and the game was tied most of the time. In the end, the Cornhuskers pulled it off for a two point win. Way to go, Austin!

I'm that guy today. You know, the one with the ear piece in all day. Ok, I've got a new app I'm trying, vlingo. It reads and dictation. So I can listen to anything incoming via bluetooth. You've been warned!

We had a fun time at the kids school today. They put on a luau with dancing, limbo, volleyball, and food! Wow, what fun!
